O Pedro, an all-day, Goa-inspired bar and restaurant is yet another offering from the Hunger Inc. Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. Nestled behind the frangipani trees of the Jet Airways-Godrej BKC Building in Bandra-Kurla Complex, O Pedro was made in Goa for the city of Mumbai. Expect drinks that bring back the fun of tropical living; simple, sophisticated food that reflects Goa’s stunning culinary diversity, going back to its Portuguese influences and beyond; and a vibe influenced by the stories and rhythms of the palm-fringed state.
O Pedro’s drink-makers delved deep into the way Goa’s beloved bars evolved in towns, such as Panjim, Margao and Benaulim. The result is a bar menu that includes lush, bracing experiments with home-brews and infused spirits, and embraces fresh ingredients and local flavours.
To go with the drinks, there’s food inspired by Goa’s many vibrant cuisines. O Pedro’s Catholic cooking is different from its traditional Saraswat food, and its Portuguese influences are centuries old. The food at O Pedro sidesteps Goa’s touristy flavours, to evoke all this rich, complex culinary history. Just as there’s a meal for every hour of the day and all kinds of hunger in Goa, O Pedro will serve food from quick work breaks to late-night decadence. It retains all the comfort and elegance of Goan cuisine, with an edge that comes from innovation and the occasional contemporary element. Food comes in quarter-plates, half-plates and full-plate portions to allow diners to eat and share, as they like.
Whether you’re a single diner or a visitor to the city, we want you to taste and experience as much of Goa and Portugal as possible, but in our own fun way, without the rigidity of a fine dining tasting menu. Pedro’s favourites’ is our way of giving you a taste of the popular and iconic dishes on our menu, in bite sized portions.
